A paid membership site on a domain you own

Your audience already pays you for programs, classes or community. A membership site puts that content behind a login, takes recurring or one-off payments, and keeps your members on a domain you own. We set it up on the platform that suits your content and your team, then connect sign-up, payment and the welcome emails so new members get access without you sending logins by hand.

What’s included

Platform recommendation

We pick the setup that fits your content and budget, such as Kajabi or Skool for course creators, or membership added to the site you already run.

Tiers and access rules

Free, paid and premium levels set up, with each page, video or download locked to the right tier.

Payments

Monthly, annual or one-off payments connected, including trials or intro pricing if you use them.

Sign-up and welcome flow

Sales page, checkout, account creation and welcome email linked up and tested the way a new member would go through them.

Content library structure

Programs, modules, videos and downloads organised so members can always find what to do next.

Member self-service

Members can update their card, change plan or cancel from their own account.

Admin handover

A walkthrough of adding content, managing members and seeing who is paying.

A good fit if

  • Wellness creators selling a program or community through a patchwork of links
  • Coaches with on-demand workouts, meal plans or recorded calls to package up
  • Studios offering on-demand classes to members between visits
  • Anyone paying for several tools that each do part of the membership job

Not included

  • Filming, editing or writing your course content
  • A custom iOS or Android app (see wellness app development)
  • Platform subscriptions and payment processing fees
  • Community moderation or ongoing member support

From kickoff to handover

  1. Step 1

    Offer and tier planning

We map what you sell, how it's priced and what each tier includes, then agree the platform.

  2. Step 2

    Setup and design

We configure the platform, brand the member area and design the sales and sign-up pages.

  3. Step 3

    Payments and content structure

Payments and access rules are connected and your first content is placed into the library structure.

  4. Step 4

    Test sign-ups and launch

We sign up as test members on each tier, check access, emails and cancellations, then open the doors.

Questions about Membership site

Should I use Kajabi, Skool or build the membership into my website?

If discussion and community are the product, a community platform is usually the simplest choice. If you sell structured courses with their own checkout pages, a course platform does most of the work. Building into your own site gives more control over design and fees but leaves more to maintain. We recommend one after seeing what you sell.

Can I move members over from Patreon or another platform?

Member lists can usually be imported. Recurring payments often can't move between payment systems, so members may need to re-enter their card. We plan the switch and the announcement email so as few people as possible drop off.

Can I offer a free tier?

Yes. A free tier with a few lessons or a starter guide is a common way to grow your email list and show people what the paid content is like before they pay.

Will members be able to use it on their phones?

Yes. We test everything in phone browsers, and most course and community platforms also have their own apps members can download. A fully branded app of your own is a separate app project.

Do you load our content?

We set up the library structure and place your first batch of content so launch day looks complete, then show you how to add new lessons and videos yourself.
