A store chatbot that answers order, product and subscription questions

Most of a wellness store's support inbox is the same few questions: where's my order, which product should I pick, how do I pause my subscription. We build a chatbot that sits on your store and answers them from your order data, product pages and policies. Health questions, complaints and refund requests go to a person with the full conversation attached.

What’s included

Order status answers

Connected to your store so customers can check where their order is and get tracking details without opening a ticket.

Product questions from your catalog

Trained on your product pages, ingredient lists, FAQs and the substantiated claims you already publish. It compares products on what your listings say and nothing more.

Subscription help

Explains how pausing, skipping and swapping work on your store and guides customers through it, or routes the change to your team if your subscription setup requires that.

Policy answers

Shipping times, returns and international delivery, answered from your written policies so every customer hears the same thing.

Handoff rules you agree before launch

Refund disputes, damaged parcels, side-effect or medication questions and anyone who asks for a person go to your team with the conversation attached.

Readable conversation logs

Every conversation is saved, so you can see what customers asked and how the chatbot replied.

Daily review in the first week

We read customer conversations every day after launch and fix gaps the same day, then the monthly plan takes over.

A good fit if

  • Supplement and DTC wellness brands whose inbox is mostly order-status and shipping questions
  • Stores selling subscriptions, where pause, skip and cancel requests take up support hours
  • Founders who still answer customer support themselves at night
  • Brands with a range wide enough that shoppers regularly ask which product to buy

Not included

  • Writing or approving health claims. The chatbot only repeats claims you have already substantiated.
  • Issuing refunds. Refund requests are passed to your team.
  • A store build or redesign, which is a web design package.
  • Email and SMS marketing flows, covered by the Klaviyo email flow setup.

From kickoff to handover

  1. Step 1

    Intake

We collect your product data, policies, the questions your inbox gets most often, and your list of topics that must always reach a person.

  2. Step 2

    Connect and train

We connect the chatbot to your store, load your catalog and policies, and set up handoff into the inbox your team already uses.

  3. Step 3

Your team tries to break it

Your staff ask it awkward questions and mark anything that reads wrong. We fix those answers before a customer sees them.

  4. Step 4

    Live, with daily review

It goes on your store. We review conversations daily for the first week, then move to ongoing upkeep under the monthly plan.

Questions about E-commerce AI chatbot

Will it tell customers our supplement treats a condition?

No. It answers from your product pages and the substantiated claims you already publish. Questions about medical conditions, medications, pregnancy or side effects get a polite reply that it can't advise on that, and the conversation goes to your team. Compliance review of your claims stays with you and your regulatory advisors.

Can it look up a customer's order?

Yes, once it is connected to your store. The customer gives their order details and it replies with the status and tracking information your store holds. If something looks wrong, such as a parcel that hasn't moved in days, it hands the case to your team. We confirm at intake that your store platform allows the lookup.

Can it pause or cancel subscriptions?

It can explain how pausing, skipping and swapping work and walk customers through the steps. Whether it can make the change itself depends on the subscription tool you use, and we check that at intake. Many brands prefer cancellations to reach a person, so they get a chance to keep the customer, and we can set it up that way.

Why is there a monthly fee?

The chatbot is $299 a month after setup. Products launch, prices change, policies get rewritten, and the AI models underneath shift over time. The monthly plan keeps its answers current and includes regular reviews of conversation quality.

How is this different from the AI receptionist?

The receptionist is for businesses with a phone and a schedule, like gyms, studios and spas. It texts missed callers back and books them in. The e-commerce chatbot lives on your online store and handles orders, products and subscriptions.

Should customers know they're talking to AI?

We recommend saying so in the greeting. Shoppers mostly want the right answer quickly, and they can ask for a person at any point in the conversation.
