For owners who reconcile numbers by hand
Revenue, bookings and retention in one view, without exporting a spreadsheet
Your numbers live in your booking platform, your payment processor, your store and a spreadsheet someone updates on Fridays. We pull them into one dashboard in Metabase or Looker Studio, so you can see how the business is doing on a Monday morning without exporting anything. If you run several locations, they sit side by side in the same view.
What you get
What’s included
Metrics session
We agree the handful of numbers you'll check each week and how each one is calculated, so everyone reads them the same way.
Data connections
Connections to the systems you already run, such as booking, payments, your store and spreadsheets, wherever they allow an API or export.
The dashboard
Built in Metabase or Looker Studio, with the numbers you check most at the top and the detail underneath.
Retention and cohort views
Members or customers grouped by the month they joined, so you can see who stays and when people drop off.
Location breakdowns
For multi-site businesses, each location side by side using the same definitions.
Access and walkthrough
Logins for your team and a walkthrough of what each chart means and when to worry about it.
A good fit if
- Gym and studio owners who want memberships, attendance and retention in one place
- Multi-location operators comparing sites from separate front-desk reports
- Med spas tracking revenue by treatment, rebooking rate, provider utilization and lead source
- Supplement and DTC brands that want orders and repeat purchases in one view
Not included
- Cleaning years of inconsistent records inside your booking platform. We flag problems; fixing them at the source is separate work.
- Replacing your booking, membership or store software.
- Paid plans for hosting or data tools, if your setup needs one.
- A monthly analysis or reporting service.
How it runs
From kickoff to handover
- Step 1
Agree the metrics
We list the questions you want answered each week and turn them into defined numbers.
- Step 2
Connect and check the data
We connect each source and compare the figures against reports you already trust before building anything visual.
- Step 3
Build the dashboard
We build the views, share a draft, and adjust layout and filters based on how you use it.
- Step 4
Walk through and hand over
A session with you and your team on reading the dashboard, then access is handed over.
Questions
Questions about Dashboards
Metabase or Looker Studio: which should we use?
Looker Studio is free and works well when your data already sits in Google tools or connects to them easily. Metabase handles direct database connections and more involved questions, and suits businesses with their own app or database. We recommend one after seeing where your data lives.
Can you get data out of our booking platform?
Usually, through an API, scheduled exports or a reporting integration. Some platforms restrict access or charge for it. We check what yours allows on the first call, before agreeing the scope.
How do we know the numbers are right?
Before building the charts, we compare the dashboard's figures against reports you already trust, such as last month's revenue in your payment processor. Where they disagree, we find out why and agree with you which figure is correct.
Does it update by itself?
Yes. Once connected, it refreshes on a schedule, such as daily. A source that someone updates by hand, like a spreadsheet, only refreshes when that person updates it.
Our locations run different setups. Is that a problem?
It adds work, because each location's numbers have to mean the same thing before they can be compared. The metrics session sorts that out. If your sites run different systems, the scope can go beyond the starting price, and we tell you before work begins.
