For founders ready to ship a version one
Your MVP, scoped in writing and shipped to real users
An MVP build gets the smallest version of your product that real users can adopt into the app stores or onto the web. It can be a mobile app, a web platform, or a health-tech, mental-health or AI product. Every build starts with a planning sprint, so the scope, acceptance criteria and estimate are written down before any code. Then we build to that scope and release through a managed QA gate.
What you get
What’s included
Planning sprint first, credited to the build
The MVP Planning Sprint, Healthtech Blueprint or AI/ML Discovery fixes the scope, backlog and architecture before we quote. Its fee is credited toward the build if you go ahead.
Native or cross-platform, chosen on your features
Native iOS, native Android, Flutter or React Native, picked for what your app does. Heavy camera work or deep HealthKit use points to native. Logging, messaging and payments usually ship faster cross-platform.
The core flows, built and connected
Sign-up, the main thing users come back to do, payments if you charge, and the admin your team needs to run it, as listed in the scope.
Built to acceptance criteria
Every feature has written criteria for what done means. You and our QA check the work against them, feature by feature.
Release through a managed QA gate
Critical flows tested across an agreed device matrix, defects fixed, and a written go/no-go call before release.
Launch to the stores or the web
Released to the App Store, Google Play or the web once the go/no-go call says ship.
Optional features, priced in the sprint
Wearable sync, AI features or computer vision can be part of version one. Each is scoped and priced during planning, so you can see what it adds before you commit.
A good fit if
- Founders who need real users on the core loop before the next raise or milestone
- Coaches and studios who need their own branded app in the stores
- Health-tech and mental-health teams with a blueprint that marks where the regulated work begins
- Teams with a feature list longer than the budget, ready to cut it to what proves the idea
Not included
- Every feature on your list. The sprint exists to decide which ones go in version one
- Clinical validation, regulatory submissions or compliance certification
- Maintenance after launch, which runs as a separate monthly retainer
- Launch marketing and ad spend
How it runs
From kickoff to handover
- Step 1
Planning sprint
Five to seven days on the problem, user flows, scope, backlog, architecture options, risks and acceptance criteria, ending in a build estimate tied to that document.
- Step 2
Fixed quote
The quote is fixed against the written scope. If the scope changes, the change is quoted before anyone builds it.
- Step 3
Build in milestones
Version one comes together in milestones you can review, with each feature checked against its acceptance criteria.
- Step 4
QA gate and release
Critical flows tested on real devices, defects fixed, a written go/no-go, then release to the stores or the web.
- Step 5
After launch
Take it in house, or keep us on a maintenance retainer for monitoring, fixes, dependency updates and releases.
Questions
Questions about MVP build
Why do I have to pay for a planning sprint before the build?
Without a written scope, any price we gave you on a call would be a guess, and build budgets drift when they start from one. The sprint writes down the scope, backlog, architecture and acceptance criteria, so the quote is tied to a document you can hold us to. The fee is credited toward the build if you go ahead, and the plan is yours to take anywhere if you don't.
What moves the price up from the starting figure?
Integrations, AI features and the number of platforms. An app with sign-up, logging and payments sits near the start of the range. Adding wearable sync, computer vision or a separate web admin moves it up. The sprint prices each of those, so you can decide what waits for version two.
Should we build for iOS, Android or both?
That depends on your feature set. Flutter or React Native covers both stores from one codebase and suits apps that are mostly programming, logging, messaging and payments. Native makes sense for heavy real-time camera work or deep HealthKit use. The decision and its trade-offs are written into the sprint output.
Can you build a mental-health or healthcare MVP?
Yes, inside a written boundary. The MVP ships the flows that are safely yours to ship, and the roadmap marks where sensitive data, clinical workflows or crisis features begin. Each of those becomes a gated workstream with a named specialist owner. We build HIPAA-aware systems; we don't certify compliance or clinical safety.
How long does an MVP build take?
Planning takes five to seven days. The build length depends on scope, and fixing that scope in writing is the reason the sprint comes before anyone commits to a date.
Who looks after the app once it's live?
You can take it in house, or keep us on an app maintenance retainer that covers monitoring, fixes, dependency updates and releases. If you plan to ship updates often, ongoing QA can sit alongside it.
