Turn each long-form video into shorts, clips and posts
Your best 40-minute video probably got one upload and a story mention, then went to the archive. Content Engine setup builds the pipeline that keeps it working: an editing workflow built around how you already create, a thumbnail system with a repeatable style, a repurposing workflow that turns one video into many assets, and your first 10 edits delivered so you can judge the output.
What you get
What’s included
Editing pipeline
A workflow for how footage gets from you to edited and approved, built around the way you already record, with a clear handoff at each stage.
Thumbnail system
A repeatable thumbnail style with templates, so every upload looks like your channel and new thumbnails are quick to make.
Repurposing workflow
A checklist for turning one long video into shorts for TikTok and Reels, mid-length clips, quote graphics, a newsletter section and community posts.
First 10 edits
Ten edits made through the new pipeline from your existing footage, so you see the quality and style before deciding on anything ongoing.
A good fit if
- You make strong long-form videos or podcasts that get one upload and then sit in the archive
- Your best moments are buried deep in videos most of your audience never opens
- Your thumbnails change style from one upload to the next
- You want an editor or a retainer, and need a process they can follow first
Not included
- Filming, scripting or hosting your videos
- Edits beyond the first 10, which run on a monthly retainer
- Posting to your channels (handled on the higher retainer tier)
- Paid promotion of your content
How it runs
From kickoff to handover
- Step 1
Workflow review
We look at how you record, where your footage lives and what you publish now, and pick the formats worth repurposing for your audience.
- Step 2
Pipeline and thumbnail system
We set up the editing workflow and design the thumbnail style and templates.
- Step 3
First 10 edits
We run your existing videos through the pipeline and deliver the first 10 edits for your feedback.
- Step 4
Handover
You get the written workflow, the thumbnail templates and the repurposing checklist, and decide whether to continue on a retainer or run it in-house.
Questions
Questions about Content Engine setup
Do I have to change how I film?
No. The pipeline is built around your current setup, whether that's a YouTube upload, a podcast episode or a workshop recording. You keep creating the way you do now.
What happens after the first 10 edits?
You can run the workflow in-house or move to the content engine retainer. It comes in two tiers: 15 edits plus thumbnails each month, or 30 edits with posting handled for you.
Can my own editor use the system?
Yes. The workflow, thumbnail templates and repurposing checklist are written down, so an in-house editor or assistant can follow them without us.
Which platforms is the repurposed content for?
Shorts for TikTok and Instagram Reels, mid-length clips for YouTube, plus quote graphics, newsletter sections and community posts. We pick the mix at the start based on where your audience spends time.
My videos are about sensitive topics like mental health. How do you handle edits?
You approve the first edits before anything is published, and the workflow includes your review step. Clips are cut from your own recordings, so nothing goes out that changes your meaning without your sign-off.
