Three features get underestimated on almost every brief we see. Subscription plumbing, because trials, upgrades, restores and refund handling look like a checkbox and behave like a subsystem. Two of those lines carry numbers we deliberately have not printed. Apple and Google both change their developer fees and their commission tiers, and a stale figure on a cost page is worse than no figure — check the current Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console terms directly before you model your unit economics.
